HFM goes where people are, often into places where poverty, hardship and vulnerability are part of everyday life.

We take the Gospel into slums, rural villages, bush areas, dumpsite communities, schools and streets. We reach children, families, communities and those who may otherwise be overlooked.

Our ministry on the ground includes school and community outreach, Gospel proclamation and one to one evangelism. We pray for healing, freedom and encouragement, and provide discipleship and follow up. We equip local believers and leaders for evangelism and ministry.

Our heart is to see people encounter Jesus, believers strengthened, local leaders equipped and communities impacted through people who continue the work after we have gone.

We serve through Shine Your Light, our School of Equipping and Empowerment and in partnership with local churches.

So far, many thousands have heard the gospel. We have documented over 5,000 decisions to follow Jesus, with many more people encountering Jesus but choosing not to give their details. Over 2,000 children have responded to the gospel in schools, and hundreds more have heard the good news.
